Media Transfers

Did you know that over time film, videotape, and audiotape can deteriorate and breakdown? By transferring them to permanent digital media, you can continue to enjoy them for years to come.

Videotape to DVD
Formats: VHS, super VHS, VHS-C, Hi8, Digital 8, mini DV
$10.00 for tapes under 1 hour (20-60 minute tapes in SP mode)
$15.00 for tapes over 1 hour (90-120 minute tapes in SP mode)
$20.00 for tapes exceeding 120 minutes (either a 160 minute tape in SP mode, or 90-160 minute tapes in LP or EP mode) plus $5.00 per DVD after the first disk is filled.

There is a 2-hour maximum transfer time per DVD. Multiple tapes can be transferred onto the same DVD provided the total time does not exceed 2 hours.
There is a $5.00 stacking fee per disk for combining multiple tapes onto the same DVD.
Each DVD comes in a slim jewel case. If labels are present on the tapes, the DVDs will be labeled the same way. If no labels are present, each disk will be numbered in the order it was transferred, i.e.: Tape 001, Tape 002, etc.

Film to DVD
Formats: 8mm, Super 8mm - $.20 per foot; 16mm film - $.30 per foot

There is a 2-hour maximum transfer time per DVD.
Each DVD comes in a slim jewel case. If labels are present on the reels, the DVDs will be labeled the same way. If no labels are present, each disk will be numbered in the order it was transferred, i.e.: Reel 001, Reel 002, etc.

Audio to CD
Formats: Audio Cassette, Vinyl Records, Reel to Reel, 8 Track Tapes

Audio Cassettes (and Mini Cassettes)
$15.00 per CD
Track separation: $5.00 per CD
Additional CDs (if needed): $3.00 each
Please note: The maximum recording time per CD is 79 minutes. If the cassette is 90 minutes in length, it will require 2 CDs or 10-12 minutes will be lost from side 2. Multiple cassettes can be put on the same CD, provided the maximum time does not exceed 79 minutes.

Vinyl Records
45's, 33 1/3, and 78's
$20.00 per CD.
Maximum recording time is 79 minutes. In most cases, two albums can be put on the same CD.
Track separation: $5.00 per CD
Additional CDs (if needed): $3.00 each

Reel to Reel
All recording speeds-1 7/8, 3 3/4 & 7
$30.00 per CD
Maximum recording time is 79 minutes. Slower speed recordings may need multiple CDs.
Track separation: $5.00 per CD
Additional CDs (if needed): $3.00 each

8 Track Tapes
$25.00 per CD
Maximum recording time is 79 minutes. In most cases, two tapes can be put on the same CD.
Track separation: $5.00 per CD
Additional CDs (if needed): $3.00 each

Image Digitization
Slides, prints, and negatives
$.75 each for straight scanning
$1.50 each for high resolution scanning, color correcting, and retouching.

Photos can be made into a video slideshow for an additional charge.
Please note: Photos must be taken out of any frames or albums and numbered with pencil on the back in the order you wish them transferred. Do not use self-stick notes as they can they fall off and your photos may fall out of order.
